Trendy Plus Size Pants

Trendy Plus Size Pants are available in a variety of styles, from slim cut to full palazzo legs, although the trend is moving away from slimmer legs to fuller cut legs and boot cut hems.  My person favorite is the boot cut, I think it adds a nice proportion and balance to a plus-size figure.

The ever increasing variety in "bottoms" can be confusing - especially since many designers and retailers take liberties with different items.  Here are some generally accepted definitions:
Gauchos are shorter and narrower, they are more like wide long shorts than skirts.
Culottes are longer and wider, more like a long split skirt.  Sometimes they are called "split-skirts".
Capri Pants end mid-calf and are tighter around the calf.
Cropped pants hit lower than mid-calf, usually a few inches above the ankle and are wider at the leg opening.
