Trendy Plus Size Jeans

There is an almost endless selection of trendy plus size jeans this season. Slim legs are on the way out and they are being replaced with wider leg and flared and boot cut jeans. Legs are wider than we have seen in a very long time. Embellishments on jeans – embroidery or rhinestones – are still very trendy and provide a nice departure from plain jeans.

I have only one rule when it comes to jeans – they must have spandex and be “stretchy”. There is absolutely no comparison between stretchy and traditional. The stretch jeans are much more comfortable, they provide a little support and they don’t wrinkle as bad as the regular denim.  Like pants, my favorite cut in jeans is the boot cut. It provides good balance for a plus-size figure, helping to avoid the “olive on a toothpick” silhouette!
